氰版法是一種以紫外線感光的影像複印技術，歷史相當悠久，為John William Herschel於 1840 年研發，其方法為將檸檬酸鐵氨與鐵氰化鉀混合成感光液，透過光線感光、水洗顯影。由於氰版的成像結果為藍色，也被稱為藍曬法，因藍曬法複製的成本低、費時少，是一種有效率且穩定、易保存的製圖方式，常用於負片、植物、繪圖稿的轉印。
《氰－The Light Chaser》全冊以氰版法作為特殊的單色調印刷技術，結合其手工操作與偶然性，並透過顯影劑的施作變化(平塗、刮擦、海綿、鹽巴、噴灑等)，製作出四本看似相同，卻獨一無二的16頁手縫穿線裝幀的ZINE，賦予設計作品嶄新的樣貌。
"The Light Chaser" is a hand-crafted zine that explores the fleeting nature of light and time through the historic cyanotype process. In an era shaped by instant digital replication, this project embraces slowness and imperfection as a form of resistance.
Through manual techniques like brushing, scraping, and staining photosensitive chemicals onto paper, each page captures the fluid unpredictability of light, water, and chance. No two prints are ever the same. Across four hand-stitched editions, the zine creates a tactile dialogue between material and memory, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of one of photography’s earliest methods.
“The Light Chaser” serves as a quiet manifesto: a pursuit of the ephemeral, a meditation on craftsmanship, and an act of imagining beyond the mechanical.
